About us

Founded in 2017, the United in Heart charitable organization is a non-profit foundation dedicated to build social awareness, foster adequate and innovative treatments of cardiovascular diseases according to world standards. We strive to provide support to patients, their families and healthcare professionals. Our mission is to prevent, treat and beat cardiovascular diseases.

We believe that cardiovascular diseases, such as coronary heart disease and stroke must be a national health priority of the Government. Statistics reveals frightening figures: over 63% of Ukrainians die from cardiovascular diseases yearly (WHO 2016). Thousands of lives could be saved by implementing contemporary technologies in prevention, diagnostics and treatment. In 2018 we have identified stroke prevention as the priority.

We work to:

• Raise awareness of cardiovascular diseases: the risk factors and symptoms
• Promote healthy lifestyles
• Improve treatment to save lives and reduce disability
• Create initiatives to prevent, treat and beat cardiovascular diseases
• Create dialogue between the community, health professionals and government to advocate for better health outcomes for the Ukrainians affected by cardiovascular diseases.

Campaign for Stroke awareness in Ukraine

We are launching a web site dedicated to stroke symptoms and prophylactics. Why is it extremely important to raise awareness of the stroke symptoms? Stroke was named a №2 cause of death in Ukraine. Thousands of Ukrainians die year to year. While their lives could be saved.

Our activities are aimed to educate Ukrainians, increase community awareness and reduce stroke risk. We are launching a campaign urging people to look out for the signs of stroke and live.
